This role is not just about cutting videos — we're looking for someone who can
shoot, edit, design motion graphics, colour grade, mix sound, and explore AI tools
to create next-level storytelling experiences.

Salary:
₹35,000 – ₹40,000/month

Job Description

As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for capturing and editing visuals into compelling stories that match the director's vision. From
camera work on set
to
polished post-production output
, you'll be the creative force connecting sight and sound into one powerful narrative.

Roles and Responsibilities

Shooting & Production

  • Operate DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, lighting setups, and audio equipment.
  • Capture interviews, product films, and behind-the-scenes footage with professional framing and sound.
  • Support directors during shoots with both technical and creative inputs.

Editing & Post-Production

  • Edit live-action and animation projects into final deliverables across platforms.
  • Review scripts and raw footage to create a shot decision list, ensuring continuity and impact.
  • Input music, dialogues, graphics, VFX, and sound effects.

Motion Graphics & Design

  • Create engaging
    2D/3D animations, motion graphics, and text animations
    for marketing and promotional use.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure consistent brand language across edits.

Sound & Color

  • Perform
    audio post-production
    (basic mixing, syncing, and sound design).
  • Apply
    colour correction and grading
    to achieve professional, cinematic looks.

AI & Innovation

  • Explore and integrate
    AI-based tools
    (Runway, Pika, Stable Video, Suno, etc.) to improve workflow and creative output.
  • Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and best practices to maximise efficiency.

Media & Brand

  • Manage and archive media assets across projects.
  • Curate and maintain the brand's
    digital image and social media presence
    with creative video content.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Experience:
    3–4 years in video production (shooting + editing + motion graphics).
  • Proven expertise in
    both pre-production and post-production.
  • Proficient in
    Adobe Creative Cloud
    (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition) and
    DaVinci Resolve.
  • Skilled in
    videography, camera handling, lighting, and sound capture.
  • Familiarity with contemporary
    cameras, file formats, codecs, and workflows.
  • Good grasp of
    storytelling, continuity, pacing, and design sense.
  • Knowledge of
    audio post-production
    (mixing, scoring) is a plus.
  • Strong interest or experience in
    AI-driven video editing and motion graphics.
  • Extremely
    organised, deadline-driven,
    and able to multitask.
