We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Commis to join our team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cooking and kitchen management, with excellent culinary skills and attention to detail.

Roles and Responsibility

  • Assist the Chef de Partie in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety in the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Develop new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the dining experience.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Participate in inventory management and ordering supplies.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Commis or similar role in a professional kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, ingredients, and cooking methods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively.
