JOB DESCRIPTION

Job title: Associate Psychologist

Division: Clinical

Reporting to: Psychology In-charge

About the Role:

We are looking for passionate and dedicated psychologists to join our dynamic clinical team in Madurai. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a team of eminent psychiatrists in a multidisciplinary setting.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct comprehensive psychological case history taking and diagnostic formulation

· Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation

· Provide evidence-based psychological interventions including counseling and psychotherapy for both inpatients and outpatients

· Use appropriate psychological assessments to evaluate symptom severity and monitor patient progress

· Participate in training psychology interns and PG students

· Engage in community mental health awareness initiatives

· Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

· Participate in research activities

What We're Looking For:

· Postgraduate degree in Psychology (Clinical or Applied)

· Strong interest in clinical practice and mental health care

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Ability to work effectively as part of a team

· Willingness to take initiative in patient care, training, and community programs

· Interest in research is an added advantage
