Utkarsh Global Foundation is a not-for-profit organization committed to social

transformation through impactful initiatives across health, education, environment, and

women empowerment. The Women Empowerment Vertical plays a crucial role in

enabling socio-economic growth for women across diverse backgrounds through

sustainable livelihood programs, skilling, advocacy, and entrepreneurship

development.

Role Overview:

The Head – Operations, Women Empowerment Vertical will lead and oversee all

operational aspects of the Women Empowerment Units across India. This position will

be responsible for driving strategy, program development, partnerships, and team

leadership to scale up the vertical's to next level and to create its impact in terms of

the growth in alignment with the Foundation's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Growth

 Design and implement long-term strategies for scaling the Women

Empowerment vertical.

 Identify new geographies, programs, and models to deepen impact and reach.

 Work closely with leadership of the foundation to align operational goals with

the Foundation's vision.

Operational Leadership

 Formulate the development plan for the Women empowerment vertical.

 Oversee daily operations across all Women Empowerment Units.

 Develop SOPs and performance metrics to ensure uniformity and excellence.

 Conduct regular reviews and ensure timely reporting and documentation.

Team & Capacity Building

 Lead and mentor a multi-location team of Unit Heads and field staff to have

right out come.

 Identify talent needs, drive capacity building, and foster a performance-driven

culture.

 Develop talent development mechanism for the team to enhance the skillset

and engagement.

Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement

 Build and nurture partnerships with government bodies, NGOs, CSR partners,

and donors.

 Represent the vertical in key forums and collaborations to promote visibility and

credibility.

 Foster the employer brand to attract right talent for the foundation.

Program Development & Innovation

 Co-create scalable livelihood models, skilling modules, and entrepreneurship

frameworks.

 Leverage technology, community feedback, and innovation for continuous

improvement.

Financial & Resource Management

 Plan budgets and ensure optimal use of resources across projects.

 Monitor fund utilization and work with internal teams for donor compliance.

Qualifications & Skills:

 Master's degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Business

Administration, or relevant education.

 Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in program management or operations,

preferably in women-centric or development sector roles.

 Proven track record of leading large teams and scaling programs across

geographies.

 Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

 Ability to think strategically while being hands-on with execution.

 Fluency in English Hindi, Marathi. The knowledge of regional languages is an

added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500, ₹600,000.00 per year
