Job Title: Accountant

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts in compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, and management dashboards.
  • Ensure timely and accurate compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements, including filing of returns.
  • Support statutory, tax, and internal audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and necessary documentation.
  • Monitor cash flows, expense booking, and vendor payments to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closures of accounts.
  • Contribute to process automation initiatives and help strengthen internal financial controls.
  • Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and government authorities as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com)
  • 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in accounting and tax compliance.
  • Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards, GST, TDS, and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally ERP, Zoho Books, or SAP.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
