Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Planning & Scheduling

  2. Develop and maintain master project schedules using tools such as Primavera or MS Project.

  3. Define project milestones, critical paths, and timelines for all phases.

  4. Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams for accurate planning inputs.

  5. Resource & Cost Management

  6. Prepare resource allocation plans for manpower, materials, and equipment.

  7. Monitor and control project budgets, cost forecasts, and cash flows.

  8. Track and report cost variances and recommend corrective actions.

  9. Progress Monitoring & Reporting

  10. Review project progress on a weekly/monthly basis and identify delays or deviations.

  11. Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and progress presentations for management.

  12. Implement Earned Value Management (EVM) or equivalent systems to track project performance.

  13. Coordination & Communication

  14. Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.

  15. Conduct planning review meetings with project teams.

  16. Support tendering teams with project scheduling and resource estimation during bid stage.

  17. Risk & Quality Management

  18. Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

  19. Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.
  20. Contribute to continuous improvement in project planning systems and processes.

Skills & Competencies Required:

  • Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 / MS Project
  • Excellent understanding of construction sequencing, contracts, and cost control
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • 8 plus years of experience required.
