About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Machine Designer with strong expertise in Injection Molding and/or Blow Molding machinery design. The ideal candidate will bring in-depth knowledge of plastic processing equipment, mechanical systems, and end-to-end machine engineering. In this role, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and enhancement of advanced molding machines tailored for high-performance production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complete Injection or Blow Molding machines, including mechanical layouts, structures, and assemblies.
  • Prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD models/drawings using tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, or AutoCAD.
  • Collaborate closely with electrical, automation, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of machine systems.
  • Develop and maintain Bill of Materials (BOMs), part lists, and related technical documentation.
  • Perform design validation, load/stress analysis, and ensure manufacturability of components.
  • Improve and optimize existing machine designs for higher efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and easier maintenance.
  • Support machine prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting during production trials and customer site installations.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure quality, feasibility, and timely delivery of fabricated parts.
  • Ensure adherence to international quality and safety standards (ISO, CE, etc.).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 510+ years of hands-on experience in machine design, specifically Injection or Blow Molding systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of molding technologies, mechanical assemblies, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, and fabrication.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple design projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in machine design or integration of systems.
  • Exposure to automation, sensors, and PLC-based integration in molding equipment.
  • Familiarity with industry compliance requirements and international design standards.
