Experience Required: 1015 years (preferably in manufacturing industry)

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost Accountant (ICWA) / MBA in Finance

Job Summary:

The Finance Controller will be responsible for driving financial excellence, process automation,

compliance, and strategic decision-making across the organization. The role involves overseeing

financial operations, implementing technology-driven systems, ensuring statutory compliance, and

providing analytical insights to management for business growth and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technology & Process Automation

2. Drive adoption of digital finance tools and automation to enhance accuracy, speed, and

transparency in operations.

• Standardize and implement SOPs across Finance & Accounts for consistency, compliance, and

efficiency.

• Develop real-time dashboards and automated reports for better decision-making.

• Lead ERP transition and introduce new software/AI-based tools for process optimization.

• Management Information System (MIS) & Analytics

• Design, prepare, and deliver accurate and timely MIS reports to support business decisions.

• Create performance dashboards covering profitability, cost centers, and cash flow analysis.

• Implement advanced analytics for forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.

• Audit, Compliance & Risk Management

• Establish and monitor robust internal control systems.

• Lead statutory, internal, and process audits, ensuring timely closure of audit observations.
• Ensure full compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.

• Support management in reviewing contracts, agreements, and key financial documents.

• Cost Management & Resource Optimization

• Identify and monitor cost centers to enhance accountability and transparency.

• Analyze cost structures and recommend cost optimization initiatives.
• Monitor departmental and project budgets to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

• Implement cost-effective measures to improve operational efficiency.

• Project Analysis & Evaluation

• Conduct detailed financial evaluations of projects (ROI, IRR, Payback Period).

• Prepare feasibility studies, financial models, and sensitivity analyses for strategic

investments.

• Develop project budgets and cash flow projections, ensuring financial control throughout

execution.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project objectives with business outcomes.
• Present periodic project updates highlighting financial performance, risks, and

recommendations.

accountability.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, financial discipline, and operational excellence.

• Legal Exposure & Risk Mitigation

• Identify and mitigate financial and legal risks across business operations.

• Review and advise on contracts, vendor agreements, and MOUs to minimize legal exposure.
• Coordinate with legal advisors for managing disputes, notices, and regulatory matters.
• Maintain risk registers and early-warning systems for potential financial or legal liabilities.
