About Us

Calcutta Bakery Pvt. Ltd. is a fast-growing FMCG & bakery brand based in Kolkata, engaged in manufacturing bread, cakes, cookies, rusk, muffins and dairy products. We are expanding our team and looking for a responsible and dynamic HR Executive to handle recruitment, employee management, and HR operations.

Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Hiring

  • Source candidates through job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, WorkIndia), consultants, and referrals.
  • Screen profiles, conduct telephonic interviews, and coordinate final interviews.
  • Hiring for field sales (PSR/Distributor salesmen), production staff, office staff, and supervisors.
  • Issue offer letters, appointment letters, and maintain joining formalities.

2. Attendance & Payroll Coordination

  • Maintain daily attendance, leave records & employee database.
  • Coordinate with accounts team for monthly payroll processing.
  • Track late marks, overtime, absenteeism, and shift management (factory).

3. HR Operations

  • Maintain employee files, documentation, ID cards.
  • Manage onboarding, orientation, and exit formalities including notice period & recovery.
  • Draft HR letters: warning, appreciation, confirmation, relieving, etc.
  • Handle grievances and ensure smooth workplace communication.

4. Compliance Support

  • Assist in PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Shops & Establishment, and other statutory compliance.
  • Maintain registers and documents required for HR audit and labour laws.

5. Performance & Discipline

  • Monitor employee behaviour, punctuality, and discipline.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with sales team & field staff for performance tracking.
  • Coordinate for training sessions for sales, production, and hygiene as needed.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of recruitment and HR processes.
  • Good communication skills (Hindi/Bengali/English).
  • Basic understanding of PF/ESI/Compliance (preferable).
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and emails.
  • Ability to manage field staff and production staff records.
  • Strong follow-up skills and ability to handle pressure.

Qualification

  • Graduate / MBA in HR preferred.
  • 1–3 years of HR experience (FMCG/Bakery/Dairy industry preferred but not mandatory).

Salary

₹12,000 – ₹15,000 per month (depending on experience & capability)
