JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced internal communications professional. This role requires exceptional command over the English language and editorial acumen.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Editorial & Publishing:

Edit & Write long-form articles for L&Ts owned magazines and newsletters, with A-Z responsibility sourcing inputs, verifying facts, and securing approval(s).

Proofread the monthly internal magazines and newsletters.

Upload the magazine content to digital platforms using Content Management Software (CMS) to create digital editions.

Broadcast Management:

Disseminate all corporate-level communications developed by the Corporate Communications department. Ensure timely and accurate broadcasts, including during non-standard hours (nights/weekends) as and when required.

Key Requirements:

Language Proficiency: Impeccable command of written English; strong editing and proofreading skills.

Experience in sub-editing / copy-editing in reputed newspaper / new media or publishing house.

Familiarity with industry news and contemporary developments in the world of business.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with CMS platforms and digital publishing tools.

Desirable Attributes:

A sharp editorial eye and the ability to pre-empt communication risks.
