Devine Meditech is an ISO 13485:2016 certified medical device manufacturer specializing in ophthalmic surgical products, including intraocular lenses (IOLs), surgical instruments, and consumables. Job Summary:
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, promoting Devine Meditech's ophthalmic product portfolio, and achieving sales growth in domestic and international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with hospitals, eye care centers, ophthalmologists, and distributors.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive trends, and product potential.
- Generate and qualify leads through cold calling, online research, and participation in medical trade shows and exhibitions.
- Prepare and deliver product presentations and proposals to clients.
- Collaborate with the technical and production teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with existing clients to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Contribute to sales strategies, pricing models, and promotional activities.
- Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback for management review.
- Support regulatory and documentation teams for tender participation or export documentation when required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Science, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Experience: 1–4 years of experience in business development or sales within the medical device or healthcare sector (ophthalmic experience preferred).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand technical products and explain them clearly to clients.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and willing to travel (domestic and international).
