Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in design, execution and monitoring of environmental engineering tasks: wastewater treatment (ETP/CETP/STP), landfill liner & closure systems, hazardous-waste treatment, incineration/evaporation (MEE) systems. Environment
  • Conduct environmental monitoring (air, water, soil, leachate) and sampling programmes; assist in data analysis & reporting to meet regulatory compliance (MoEF, CPCB, state pollution boards).
  • Prepare / update environmental management plans (EMP), site-specific health & safety protocols, and ensure civil/construction works align with environmental controls.
  • Liaise with QA/QC, site engineering and operations teams to ensure proper implementation of engineering standards, environmental best practices and process controls.
  • Contribute to methods for waste-minimisation, co-processing, resource recovery (bio-CNG, solar on landfill etc) initiatives
  • Support cost‐estimations, scheduling, progress tracking, documentation of non-conformances, corrective actions and hand-over of environmental systems.
  • Travel to project site(s) as required, support field-inspections, interface with contractors and ensure housekeeping & environment compliance on site.
  • Assist in preparation of environmental reports for statutory submissions, audit support, and help maintain records of environmental performance metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering (with environmental focus), or equivalent.
  • 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in environmental engineering / waste-management / treatment plant / landfill / TSDF projects is preferred.
  • Good understanding of environmental engineering fundamentals: wastewater treatment, air emissions, leachate management, landfill/solid‐waste engineering.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word), ability to interpret field data, create progress reports, coordinate site logistics. Knowledge of AutoCAD or other drawing review tools is a plus..
