Job Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level Billing Engineer to join our team in Bangalore on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of work experience and will be responsible for managing the billing processes within our construction projects. This role requires specific expertise in handling project billing and contract administration that aligns with our standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience of 3 to 6 years in commercial interiors project billing, showcasing expertise in managing financial aspects of large projects efficiently.
  • In-depth understanding and practical use of cost estimating software to ensure accurate financial forecasts and budgeting.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD to interpret and utilize engineering drawings during project execution and billing procedures.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and data analysis to support billing processes.
  • Strong project management skills to oversee billing operations and ensure timely implementation of project phases.
  • Expertise in change order management to maintain budget integrity and incorporate project scope modifications smoothly.
  • Solid understanding of contract administration to ensure billing activities comply with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Must have experience in generating and tracking billing documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage project billing, ensuring all invoicing is accurate and compliant with contract agreements.
  • Coordinate with project teams to review and approve project costs, budgets, and changes in scope.
  • Conduct financial forecasting and budgeting for construction projects, providing insight and recommendations for cost management.
  • Monitor project progress and update billing milestones accordingly, maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Handle change order management processes, ensuring all project adjustments are reflected in billing operations.
  • Develop billing reports and communicate finance-related project updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of billing records for future reference and compliance audits.
  • Collaborate with finance and project management teams to enhance billing procedures and increase operational efficiency.
