Presently, NOTO's product range includes ice creams and popsicles in a variety of global as well as Indian flavors.
Job Description · Planning and organizing: Coordinating and planning the logistics activities, including scheduling and prioritizing deliveries, and inventory management. · Supplier management: Working closely with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods, resolving any issues or discrepancies, and maintaining good relationships with vendors. · Transportation coordination: Arranging and coordinating transportation services, including vehicle scheduling FTL & LTL and tracking vehicles to ensure on-time delivery. · Inventory control: Monitoring and managing inventory levels, including forecasting demand, optimizing stock levels, and minimizing excess or obsolete inventory. · Documentation and record keeping: Maintaining accurate records of shipments, invoices, and other logistical documents, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal procedures. · Communication and collaboration: Coordinating with various internal departments, such as procurement, production, and customer service, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery to customers. · Problem-solving and troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving logistical issues, such as delays, disruptions, or quality problems, implementing corrective actions when necessary. · Route Planning: Determining the most efficient routes for transporting goods based on factors such as distance, time, cost, and delivery requirements. · Communication and Collaboration: Liaising with internal teams, such as procurement, warehouse, and customer service, to coordinate transportation requirements and resolve any logistics-related issues. Key Skills
  • Experience of 2-3 years in an Ice Cream processing facility or Cold Chain (Frozen Foods) will be given preferences
  • Must have hands-on over experience in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be able to present information effectively and respond to questions from groups of managers
  • Working knowledge of ERP software will be appreciated
  • Communication - Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely in English
  • Communication - Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word
