Currently we are funded by the IDEX initiative under Ministry of Defense, India to develop products targeting the following problems faced by the Indian Navy:

• AI-based FOD detection software for Naval Air-stations
• Reusable Off-board Missile Decoy for Anti-Ship Missile Defense

Job Overview

We are looking for an Operations Executive who can work closely with senior management. The person will handle daily office work, buying and managing materials, dealing with vendors, managing transport and staff, and helping with system testing and maintenance.

This job needs someone who can learn on their own, solve problems, stay organized, and support both the technical team and management in day-to-day work.

Key Responsibilities

• Procurement & Vendor Management: Place orders, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure timely deliveries from both local markets and domestic/international shipments.
• Inventory Control: Track and manage parts, equipment, and office supplies; maintain readiness for testing/deployment.
• Logistical Support: Organize field trials, office setups, travel plans, and team requirements.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed technical logs, procurement records, and performance reports.
• Team Collaboration: Work with development, testing, and management teams to ensure smooth operations and timely project execution.
• Office management: Managing and hiring labours for day-to-day work and ensuring daily operations are done efficiently.
• Conduct unit and full-system testing, including outdoor trials, and collect performance data.
• Support data collection, annotation, and analysis during product development.
• Manage, supervise and hire ground-level technical staff, including labours, electricians, carpenters, welders, fabricators, and general technicians involved in the assembly, maintenance, and field operations of robotic and drone systems.
• Managing and following basic checklists before and after systems testing.

Qualifications

Education:

• Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, Robotics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent experience also considered.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years experience in a robotics/technical operations role, preferably in a startup, R&D, or defence-tech environment or manufacturing environment or finance office,
• Prior exposure to procurement, vendor management, and field testing is a strong plus.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge about board-level soldering, assembling, using test equipment like multi-meters is a plus.
• Knowledge of computers is a plus. Includes works such as setting up workstations and installing Windows/Linux operating systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of Wi-Fi, MCBs, powering systems, etc is a plus.
• Ability to debug and maintain hardware/software subsystems is a plus.
• Hands on experience on Microsoft tools.

• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to travel to various testing sites India.
• Ability to work in outdoor environments for extended durations.
