Job Summary: Orchids The International School is seeking passionate and creative DIY

Teachers to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in inspiring and

educating students through engaging hands-on activities in Art & Craft and/or Technical

subjects. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, creating engaging

lesson plans, and fostering a safe and supportive learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.

Prepare and conduct a variety of instructional activities, including demonstrations,

discussions, and independent practice.

Differentiate instruction to cater to diverse learning styles and needs of students.

Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.

Conduct and participate in workshops, exhibitions, and other events as directed by

the central team.

Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.

Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and

development.

•

Participate in professional development activities and workshops to enhance teaching

skills.

•

Attend all mandatory training sessions scheduled by the central team.

For Technical Teachers: Be willing to learn and assist with the basic maintenance of

woodworking machines, hand tools, and electric circuitry.

Supervise students during hands-on activities and provide guidance as needed.

Bachelor's degree in Science Education, Art Education, or a related field.

Preferred: Diploma/Degree in Engineering (for Technical Teachers)

Preferred: Degree/Diploma in ATD/BFA/Art & Craft (for Art Teachers)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Passion for teaching and a strong desire to inspire students.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with educational technology.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Openness to learning new techniques and exploring innovative teaching methods.

Willingness to travel for intercity training (once every two months).

Important Note: Candidates must not be allergic to dust, as woodworking activities

may involve minimal sawdust exposure.
