  • Recruitment and staffing:
  • Partner with department heads to understand staffing needs and forecast requirements.
  • Post job openings, source candidates through various channels, and manage the full hiring lifecycle.
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and manage the selection process.
  • Onboarding and training:
  • Oversee the onboarding of new hires, including orientation and initial training programs.
  • Coordinate ongoing training and professional development for employees.
  • Employee relations and compliance:
  • Act as a point of contact for employee grievances and conflicts, promoting a positive work environment.
  • Ensure adherence to all labor laws and hotel-specific regulations.
  • Handle disciplinary actions fairly and consistently.
  • HR administration:
  • Maintain employee records and manage HR databases.
  • Assist with performance management and evaluation processes.
  • Support compensation and benefits administration.

Qualifications and skills

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is often required.
  • Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in HR or hospitality is generally needed.
  • Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and applicant tracking systems is beneficial.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
