Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Website Developer with 2-4 years of hands-on experience in both WordPress and Shopify platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, responsive websites that deliver outstanding user experiences and meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

WordPress Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites from concept to completion.
  • Customize themes and templates to meet project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain custom plugins and integrations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website functionality and performance issues.
  • Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and security.
  • Collaborate with design and content teams to implement new features and enhancements.

Shopify Development

  • Build, customize, and maintain Shopify stores.
  • Develop bespoke themes and modify existing templates as per brand guidelines.
  • Integrate third-party apps, APIs, and marketing tools.
  • Optimize Shopify stores for conversion, performance, and mobile responsiveness.
  • Debug, test, and enhance Shopify websites regularly.
  • Provide technical support and implement new features as needed.

General Web Development

  • Ensure all websites are responsive and provide seamless user experiences across devices.
  • Maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferrable code.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, platform updates, and best practices.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in WordPress and Shopify development.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, and Liquid templating (Shopify).
  • Experience with theme customization, plugin/app development, and third-party integrations.
  • Strong understanding of website architecture, UI/UX, and responsive design.
  • Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Experience with SEO best practices and website optimization.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in an agency environment is a plus.
