Job Description - Partnerships Associate
About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and driven Partnerships Associates to join our on-ground outreach team for upGrad School of Technology (SOT). Reporting directly to the Zonal Head - Partnerships, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with schools, coaching institutes, and career counselors, as well as representing the brand at career fairs and education events. Your efforts will focus on creating visibility, strengthening brand trust, and generating warm leads that feed into our admissions pipeline.
Key ResponsibilitiesOutreach & Relationship Building
- Visit and engage with schools, coaching classes, and counselors in your assigned region.
- Build long-term relationships with principals, teachers, and other decision-makers.
- Represent upGrad SOT at education fairs, seminars, and workshops to enhance visibility.
Lead Generation
- Drive student and parent awareness through presentations, info sessions, and events.
- Capture and qualify leads from schools, coaching networks, and career fairs.
- Ensure warm leads are handed over seamlessly to the admissions team for follow-up.
Brand Building
- Consistently project a professional, trustworthy, and aspirational image of upGrad SOT.
- Share program details clearly with stakeholders and address their initial queries.
- Support the Zonal Head in executing regional brand-building initiatives.
Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activity, leads generated, and event participation.
- Provide weekly updates to the Zonal Head on progress against targets.
- Coordinate with the central marketing and admissions teams for aligned messaging.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in field sales, partnerships, or business development (education/edtech preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust quickly.
- Self-driven with a willingness to travel extensively in the assigned zone.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Passion for education and the ability to represent a mission-driven institution.
