Job Title: Sr. Manager – New Product Development (NPD) – Beauty & Personal Care

Experience Required: 2–4 Years

Working Days: 5 Days a Week

Location: Gurgaon, Sector 30

Job Description:

We're looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Manager – NPD to lead the end-to-end development of new makeup and skincare SKUs—from trend spotting to final launch. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of formulation and packaging, cross-functional project management experience, and a passion for innovation in beauty. This role places you at the heart of product innovation and execution, in collaboration with global vendors and internal creative teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development & Innovation

  • Drive and manage new product development across makeup categories—lips, face, eyes, and skin-prep.
  • Evaluate product submissions for texture, payoff, finish, fragrance, shade depth, and sensorial appeal.
  • Develop innovation decks, shade stories, benchmark reports, and product copy aligned with brand voice.

Vendor Management

  • Coordinate with vendors and manufacturing partners across Korea, China, and Italy for both formulation and packaging innovation.
  • Lead sampling, stability testing, and production planning with timely feedback and documentation.
  • Maintain trackers for all raw material/packaging specs, test results, shade sign-offs, and approvals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams—marketing, design, regulatory, and supply chain—for seamless execution.
  • Align on naming, claims, key USPs, storytelling, and regulatory documentation as per Indian and global standards.

Project Ownership

  • Ensure timely launch execution with a strong eye on timelines, quality, cost, and brand alignment.
  • Plan the NPD innovation pipeline in line with category trends, business goals, and consumer demands.
  • Assist in evaluating the commercial feasibility of each launch.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong understanding of both formulation and packaging dynamics in the beauty or FMCG sector.
  • Creative thinking with aesthetic sensibility and trend awareness.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Google Workspace for reporting and presentations.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities—comfortable presenting to founders, investors, and partners.
  • Strong project management and vendor coordination skills across multiple time zones.
