St. George's College, Mussoorie—one of the country's leading all-boys residential schools—invites applications from qualified and experienced Head Chefs to lead and manage the complete kitchen operations for its residential campus.

Role & Scope of Work

The selected Head Chef will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and supervising breakfast, lunch, morning staff snacks, evening snacks and dinner every day.
  • Ensuring excellent standards of hygiene, nutrition, taste and presentation.
  • Providing both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food options.
  • Designing special menus for school events and celebrations.
  • Managing all kitchen operations within the on-campus cooking facility.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Chef in institutional or large-volume cooking environments (boarding schools, hostels, colleges, or corporate setups preferred).
  • Valid FSSAI Certification and adherence to all food safety norms.
  • Ability to lead a trained team of assistant cooks, servers and cleaning staff.
  • Capacity to manage daily meals for approximately 700 students and 100 staff members.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to run a disciplined, hygienic kitchen.
