Job Description

We are looking for an experienced
SAP MDG Consultant
to lead the
technical implementation
of SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) solutions across multiple projects and releases.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in
SAP ABAP
,
MDG configuration
, and
end-to-end implementation
, with a focus on Business Partner data domains.

The consultant will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality deliverables, seamless integration, and adherence to best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the
    technical implementation
    of SAP MDG solutions across projects and releases.
  • Gather, analyze, and validate functional/technical requirements
    to define appropriate solution designs.
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications
    in alignment with SAP standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with development and functional teams to deliver
    high-quality, scalable solutions
    .
  • Serve as the
    quality custodian
    for MDG technical components; define and review KPIs for quality assurance.
  • Manage and support
    Change Request (ChaRM)
    processes in
    SAP Solution Manager (SolMan)
    for MDG-related releases.

Desired Skills & Competencies

Must-Have:

  • 3 to 6+ years of
    SAP ABAP
    development experience.
  • 2 to 4+ years of
    SAP MDG
    experience, primarily in
    Business Partner domain
    .
  • End-to-End SAP Implementation
    (minimum 2–3 full cycles).
  • Strong understanding of
    MDG data models, workflows, and validations
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    ChaRM / SolMan processes
    .

Good to Have:

  • SAP MDG Certification
    .
  • Experience integrating
    SAP with non-SAP systems
    .
  • Knowledge of
    data governance, quality standards, and compliance frameworks
    .
  • Exposure to
    S/4HANA environments
    .

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Excellent
    communication and collaboration
    skills
