We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with 3 to 10 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and automation testing, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Roles and Responsibility

  • Analyze, review, and understand software requirements for automation testability.
  • Automate system-level scenarios using Cucumber and Ruby.
  • Create step definitions and bindings for feature files and validate user scenarios.
  • Utilize development, data manipulation, and scripting skills to engineer technical, repeatable tests.
  • Continuously research and improve the automation framework.
  • Collaborate with project teams on various frameworks used and effectively reuse libraries at the system level.
  • Lead teams and be technically sound.

Job Requirements

  • BE/B.Tech/MCA/ME/M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering with an excellent academic track record.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Software Development/Automation Testing.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Agile methodologies and Behavior-Driven Development.
  • Hands-on experience in Behavior-Driven Development and tools like Cucumber, Rspec, etc.
  • Strong database skills (MySQL & SQL server).
  • Experience with multiple test automation tools (Ruby Mine, QTP, Test Complete, etc.).
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Chef, etc.
  • Good understanding of test and defect tracking tools (defect logging tools, test management tools, versioning systems, statistical tools, performance monitoring tools, test automation tools, etc.).
  • Quick learner for new technologies with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player and proactive behavior.
  • Experience in Safe Agile and Scrum Master roles is preferred, with at least 1-2 resources handling small scrum teams.
