An Oracle Fusion HCM Technical Developer who has exp of years should is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining technical components using Oracle HCM Cloud tools. This includes handling employee data, payroll, job details, and organisational hierarchies using tools like HCM Extract, HDL, BI Reports, OTBI, Fast Formula, and REST APIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Integration Development: Build and maintain integrations using HCM Extract, HDL (HCM Data Loader), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)and REST APIs
  • Data Handling: Extract, transform, and load employee data including joiners, movers, and leavers from Oracle HCM to downstream systems like Fusion Finance
  • Customisation: Use Fast Formula and OTBI to customise HR functionalities and generate business intelligence reports
  • Compliance & Support: Ensure HR systems meet compliance standards and provide technical support for onboarding and maintenance
  • Automation: Implement automation tools such as DS.030 configuration extractor and Gen AI-powered patch analysis to reduce manual effort.

Required Skills

  • Oracle Cloud HCM (Global HR, Payroll, Talent Management)
  • Oracle Fusion HCM (HCM Extracts, OTBI, Fast Formula)
  • HDL and Web Services for data exchange
  • PL/SQL, BI Publisher.
  • Experience with REST APIs and XML data formats
  • Familiarity with SFTP and PGP for secure data transfer

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
  • 2–6 years of experience in Oracle Fusion HCM
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
