Job position - Account Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Day-to-Day Accounting:

Maintain comprehensive records including vouchers, receipts, bills, and payments.

Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and categorised.

Bank Reconciliation and Payment Processing:

Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate account balances.

Manage payment collections and handle banking operations, including cheque issuance, cash deposits, NEFT, and RTGS transactions.

Financial Reporting and Account Management:

Handle TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) calculations and compliance.

Finalise accounts and prepare detailed financial statements including statements of accounts and balance sheet statements.

Utilise Tally ERP for accounting and record-keeping.

MIS and Reporting:

Prepare and maintain Management Information System (MIS) reports.

Utilise Excel and Google Spreadsheets for data analysis and project reports.

Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data and reports.

Additional Duties:

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

Assist with audits and prepare documentation as required.

Perform other related tasks as assigned by the finance department.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience: Proven experience in accounting or a similar role is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Tally ERP.

Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation processes and financial reporting.

Experience with MIS, Excel, and Google Spreadsheets.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong sense of ownership and responsibility.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
