Key responsibilities:

computer operations

  • Maintain and oversee the daily use of computer systems, ensuring all hardware and software function efficiently.
  • Provide timely data entry and general office file management.
  • Ensure the security of the company's computer systems by following established protocols.
  • Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues and report complex problems to the IT department.
  • Prepare and generate various reports, correspondence, and documents as required by management.
  • Manage and maintain logs for all computer system activities.

Tally and accounting duties

  • Perform accurate and timely data entry of all daily financial transactions in Tally, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
  • Generate and issue sales invoices, purchase orders, credit notes, and debit notes.
  • Conduct bank reconciliation by matching company accounts with bank statements.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, tracking payments to vendors and receiving payments from customers.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, such as trial balance, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets, for management review.
  • Handle tax-related entries, including GST and TDS, and assist with timely filing of returns.
  • Maintain all accounting records and documents, ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Inventory and stock management

  • Record and manage daily entries of stock movement, including inventory inward and outward.
  • Maintain and update stock levels in the Tally software.
  • Assist in physical stock checks, reconciliation, and audits to ensure accurate inventory records.
  • Generate stock reports to support materials planning and dispatch activities.

Qualifications and skillsRequired

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent diploma.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Tally Operator, Computer Operator, or similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency: Expert knowledge of Tally ERP software and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, bookkeeping, and GST/TDS regulations.
  • Detail-oriented: High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with other manufacturing-related software or ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
