Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Manual Tester with experience in the Investment Banking domain to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in manual testing, basic automation knowledge, and hands-on experience with JIRA as a mandatory tool.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform end-to-end manual testing (80%) on complex financial applications.
  • Execute test cases, report bugs, and track them to closure using JIRA.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA leads to understand business requirements and ensure thorough test coverage.
  • Develop and execute basic automation scripts (20%) as required.
  • Participate in regression, functional, integration, and system testing.
  • Provide clear and concise test documentation and defect reports.
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables in a fast-paced investment banking environment.

Required Skills:

  • 25 years of experience in Manual Testing, preferably in Investment Banking or Financial Services.
  • Working knowledge of JIRA mandatory.
  • Exposure to Automation Testing (e.g., Selenium, basic scripting – 20%).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Good to Have:

  • Knowledge of SQL and basic database validation.
  • Understanding of trade life cycle, capital markets, or financial products.
