About This RoleWe're looking for a Brand Designer to help define and scale the Writesonic visual identity across all customer touchpoints. From our website and social media to pitch decks and product visuals, you'll bring cohesion, energy, and clarity to how the world sees us.
This is a high-ownership, highly creative role for someone who blends systems thinking with standout visual craft. You'll work closely with marketing, content, and product teams to create assets that are both beautiful and high-performing.
What You'll Be Doing- Own and evolve the Writesonic brand identity—typography, color, visual systems, illustrations, iconography, and motion
- Design marketing assets: landing pages, social media visuals, ad creatives, event materials, and thought leadership campaigns
- Collaborate with product design to ensure brand consistency across UI/UX and product marketing visuals
- Develop branded templates for internal teams (sales decks, Notion docs, press kits, etc.)
- Maintain and expand our design system and brand guidelines
- Work closely with content and GTM teams to translate messaging into compelling visuals
- Balance creativity with performance—ensuring every visual asset supports storytelling, clarity, and impact
- Explore and test new visual directions to keep the brand fresh, differentiated, and aligned with our mission
- Have 3–6 years of experience as a brand or marketing designer (startup, SaaS, or creative agency preferred)
- Have a strong portfolio showcasing brand systems, marketing design, and storytelling across digital channels
- Are highly skilled in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and motion/animation tools (After Effects, Lottie, etc.)
- Know how to balance structure with creativity—you can build systems but aren't afraid to break the mold
- Can take a project from concept to polish, quickly and independently
- Are obsessed with visual consistency and small design details that elevate a brand
- Have strong communication skills and can collaborate well across functions (marketing, product, founders)
- Experience building or evolving a brand from 0 → 1 or through a rebrand
- Comfort with no-code tools like Webflow or Framer
- Experience working with developer handoff, animation specs, or design tokens
- Familiarity with AI/tech branding or working with content-driven teams
