Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our Execution team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the electrical engineering aspects of the project, from installation to testing, should have experience of CPWD projects, commissioning, and project completion. The role involves execution of all subheads, timely measurement, client bill & contractor bill, reconciliation of material to meet the project timelines for completion and handover. They should have deep understanding of government specifications, regulatory frameworks, and project management in multiple sectors such as CPWD, and others, you will be involved in every stage of project execution, designing, ensuring compliance with government standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Execution:
• Lead the electrical execution phase of the project, ensuring that all electrical systems are installed and tested according to the approved design and specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of electrical installations and avoid project delays.
• Oversee site electrical installations, including power, lighting, and backup systems (generators, UPS, etc.).
• Supervise and monitor the execution of electrical works to ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, and local codes/standards.
• Assist in the preparation of operation and maintenance manuals for completed projects
• Act as the primary point of contact between CPWD, and other government agencies, as well as subcontractors and consultants
• Site Management & Supervision:
• Supervise electrical work on-site, including managing electrical contractors and electricians.
• Ensure that the electrical installation is progressing as per the schedule and quality standards.
• Perform regular inspections and resolve any technical issues or discrepancies encountered on-site.
• Ensure the site is safe and comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Testing & Commissioning:
• Conduct electrical testing, inspections, and ensure that all electrical equipment and systems are operational and meet the required standards.
• Prepare and review commissioning procedures, test reports, and ensure smooth handover to the client upon project completion.
• Assist in the preparation of operation and maintenance manuals for completed projects.
• Billing:
• Preparation and Certification of RA bills monthly.
• Identification and preparation of extra items.
• Preparation of monthly reconciliation statement of building material.
• Responsible for verification of certified RA bills.
• Preparing all billing records and marinating them.
• Proper centering of bills without errors.
• Preparing RA Bills for the Projects (Client and Sub Contractor bills) on a Monthly basis.
• Getting approval from the client.

• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain accurate documentation of work progress, inspections, and any changes made during the execution phase.
• Prepare regular progress reports for senior management and clients.
• Ensure that all changes, modifications, or deviations from the original design are properly documented and approved.
• Quality Assurance:
• Ensure quality control by performing periodic audits of electrical work and ensuring it meets required quality standards.
• Verify that electrical materials and components used on-site comply with the project's quality specifications.
• Address and resolve any issues related to electrical works during project execution.
• Coordination & Communication:
• Liaise with other engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure smooth coordination between electrical systems and other disciplines.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and contractors to resolve any issues or delays.
• Ensure timely and effective communication of project status and challenges.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience:
• Minimum 10 years or more of experience in electrical engineering, preferably with exposure to project execution in construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
• Hands-on experience in managing electrical installations, testing, and commissioning on-site.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in electrical design software is preferred.
• Regulatory Compliance: Strong knowledge of CPWD, and other governmental guidelines and standards for public infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and fire alarm systems.
• Key Competencies:
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and contractors.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the execution of electrical works.
