Job Description: Senior SEO Executive

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior SEO Executive to join our growth-focused Digital Marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for independently developing, implementing, and managing advanced SEO strategies across technical, on-page, and off-page pillars to significantly increase organic traffic, drive conversions, and improve search engine ranking positions (SERPs).

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Planning

  • Keyword Strategy: Lead and execute advanced keyword research, competitive analysis, and mapping to identify new growth opportunities and maintain market dominance.
  • Content Strategy: Collaborate with the content team to plan, structure, and optimize content clusters, pillar pages, and landing pages based on clear search intent and funnel mapping.

2. Technical & Performance Optimization

  • Technical Audits: Conduct regular, in-depth technical SEO audits (using tools like Screaming Frog) to identify and resolve critical issues related to crawlability, indexation, site architecture, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Schema Markup: Develop, implement, and maintain advanced schema markup to enhance rich snippets and improve SERP visibility.
  • Analytics: Own the reporting process using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console. Translate complex data into actionable business recommendations for leadership.

3. Off-Page & Authority Building

  • Link Building: Develop and manage advanced link building strategies (including digital PR and outreach) to increase domain authority and referral traffic quality.
  • Local SEO: Manage and optimize Google Business Profile (GBP) and implement strategies to dominate local search results where applicable.

4. Collaboration & Quality Assurance

  • Work closely with development teams to ensure all SEO requirements are implemented correctly during site updates, migrations, and new feature launches.
  • Monitor performance daily, troubleshoot sudden drops in traffic or rankings, and proactively communicate risks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–5 years of dedicated experience in managing and scaling SEO campaigns.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert proficiency in industry-standard tools (Ahrefs/SEMrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog).
  • Code Familiarity: Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript impact on SEO rendering.
  • Data & Analysis: Strong analytical skills with proven experience in Excel/Google Sheets to analyze large datasets.
  • Attributes: Proactive, goal-oriented, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
