Responsibilities:

  • Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering Fundamentals and knowledge of New Product Development Process.
  • Ability to collaborate and work in a Team environment.
  • Experienced and proficient with 3D CAD software (preferably Solid Works)
  • Experienced in Design and development of Injection molding, sheet metal, electro-mechanical parts, wiring harness
  • Expected to maintain a close, working partnership with other functional departments
  • Solid working knowledge of Engineering Fundamentals, DFMEA, ECN,GD&T, 4M change, drawing for production, tolerance analysis, Engineering Calculations and other product development associated techniques and tools.
  • Good knowledge on different manufacturing processes and material selection of plastic, Sheetmetal and connectors.
  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is a bonus
  • Experience in Electromechanical Product Design.
  • Knowledgeable in problem solving.
  • Quickly learn established engineering processes (like Product development process - preferable ECN, BOM, RFQ, etc.), standards, methods and procedures needed to accomplished
  • Be able to prioritize work, meet agreed project timelines, cost and quality
  • Ability to develop Innovative Ideas.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech)
  • 2 to 3 years
