Job Summary

Comcast's Technology, Product & Experience organization works at the intersection of media and technology. Our innovative teams are continually developing and delivering products that transform the customer experience. We work every day to make a positive impact through innovation in the pursuit of building amazing products that are enjoyable, easy to use and accessible across all platforms both on Broadband and Video products. The team also develops and supports our evolving network architecture, including next-generation consumer systems and technologies, infrastructure and engineering, network integration and management tools, and technical standards. In most cases, Comcast prefers to have employees on-site collaborating unless the team has been designated as virtual due to the nature of their work.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or similar.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize development workflows and improve release velocity.
  • Drive process improvements and automation across engineering operations.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs and operational metrics to ensure system health and performance.
  • Support onboarding, resource planning, and capacity management.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, security policies, and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, pipelines, and tooling.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Programming Expertise: Proficiency in one or more languages: Java, Python, or Go.
  • Strong experience with DevOps tools and practices, including deployment automation and monitoring.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering operations, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Java, Python, or Go.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
