LTIMindtree is Hiring: Mainframe Developer

Locations: Mumbai, Pune

Shift: 11 AM to 9 PM

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Preferred (Max 30 days only)

Skill Set:

  • Mainframe Technologies: HOGAN, COBOL, IMSDB, IMSDC, JCL
  • Tools: TSO/ISPF, Endevor, Hogan Umbrella, IBM Explorer, Postman

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end solutions across COBOL, DB2, CICS, IMS, cloud APIs, ESB
  • Evaluate, plan, and implement mainframe hardware/software/tools
  • Lead modernization: tech upgrades, cloud integration, APIs, microservices
  • Capacity planning, performance optimization, and issue resolution
  • Design secure systems and ensure compliance (GDPR, SOX, IRDAI)
  • Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans
  • Maintain documentation and enforce architectural standards
  • Mentor teams, review code, and communicate with stakeholders
  • Drive modernization: cloud migration, containerization, replatforming
  • Provide governance, standards, and design patterns across domains
  • Ensure fault-tolerant, high-availability systems
  • Define integration architecture (MQ, REST APIs, Kafka, zOS Connect EE)
  • Align with enterprise architects on digital transformation
  • Lead across banking domains: payments, credit risk, AML, fraud, insurance

Skills Required:

  • Experience with Core Banking (TCS BaNCS, Finacle) or Insurance Systems (Duck Creek, Guidewire)
  • Deep knowledge of data privacy, AML/KYC, regulatory compliance
  • Expert in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, IMS
  • Experience with modernization tools and cloud platforms (AWS)
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills
  • Leadership experience and Agile methodology familiarity
  • Proven legacy-to-cloud migration experience
  • Must adhere to LTIMindtree policies and shift timings
