Role : Depot Manager

Designation : Asst Manager

Location : Jodhpur

Reporting to : Regional Service Manager

Experience(Required) : 5 to 10 years in depot or fleet management (Min. 2 years in EV preferred)

Educational Qualification(Required) : Diploma/Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Automobile Engineering

Role Purpose: To lead and manage depot operations for heavy commercial EVs, ensuring maximum vehicle uptime, service quality, compliance with safety protocols, and high customer satisfaction. Act as a key liaison between EKAs service teams, depots, and external stakeholders.

Job Authority:

  • Authority to supervise depot-level activities
  • Recommend technical escalations and Flying Doctor deployment
  • Approve MOMs from depot meetings
  • Suggest parts and service process improvements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage depot performance against operational targets
  • Ensure vehicle uptime as per tender commitments
  • Maintain accurate records and submit MIS reports regularly
  • Supervise Eka shift engineers and ensure effective shift management
  • Train depot/dealer staff and Eka engineers Plan and execute driver training
  • Conduct weekly depot meetings and circulate MOMs
  • Coordinate with parts and technical teams for operational support
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and report improvements
  • Maintain adequate parts inventory; coordinate with Parts HQ
  • Request Flying Doctor support for unresolved/critical issues

    Ensure minimum 95% vehicle readiness post docking time
  • Manage service recalls and retrofitting completion timelines
  • Dispatch failed parts to DPAC on time
  • Conduct joint investigations for critical issues with vendor/technical experts
