Job Title: Gentran EDI Specialist

Location: Remote (India) (Need to support according to Canada Timings)

Client Location: Canada

Employment Type: Full-time / Contract

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3–7 years of experience in EDI implementation and support, with strong hands-on experience in IBM Sterling Gentran (Server for Windows/UNIX).
  • Sound understanding of EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and XML.
  • Experience with mapping, translation, and data transformation tools within Gentran.
  • Proficiency in FTP/SFTP/AS2, and VAN communications.
  • Familiarity with ERP integration (SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards) for EDI data exchange.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with international teams.
  • Ability to work in Canadian time zone overlap (late afternoon/evening IST preferred).

Good to Have:

  • Knowledge of Sterling Integrator, MuleSoft, or Dell Boomi integration platforms.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira) and ITIL practices.
  • Understanding of retail, logistics, or manufacturing business processes related to EDI.
  • Exposure to cloud migration or EDI modernization projects.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 40 per week
