Clean Electric is a Series A funded battery tech company focused on designing and manufacturing advanced li-ion batteries for EVs and energy storage applications which enable 12-min rapid charging, long life and unrivalled safety. We are pushing the boundaries of the EV industry with our Direct Contact Liquid Cooling (DCLC) thermal management, integrated cell-to-pack (CTP) architecture, and proprietary dynamic charging algorithms running on a custom-engineered in-house battery management system.
Founded in 2020 by IIT-BHU graduates Akash Gupta, Abhinav Roy and Ankit Joshi, we are today rapidly scaling and deploying our tech across 2W and 3W segments with plans to enter 4W and commercial vehicles as well. Role Description and Key Responsibilities
The role involves tasks including but not limited to -
- We are looking for a stellar Embedded Hardware Design Engineer to join our Battery Research and Development team. The responsibilities would include design projects as well as support to existing production products related to our in-house developed Battery Management System, BESS and Telematics Unit.
- Eagerness to get your hands dirty, to design, test, and iterate quickly is critical.
- The ideal candidate would not look at responsibility boundaries or scope of work but push relentlessly to ensure a quality product, on-time. A sense of pride and ownership in the product is a must.
- Good understanding of analog, digital and mixed signal circuit
- Hardware and System design knowledge using different Micro controllers
- Working knowledge on IOT, Industrial, EV Application- BMS, DC-DC, Battery Charger etc.
- Have fundamental knowledge in electronic component design, power semi-conductor devices (Mosfets, IGBTs, Diodes) characteristics, critical parameters of IC and Semi-conductor data-sheets
- Have knowledge in component selection and validation
- Ability to understand schematics, PCB design, and validation and verification
- Experience in handling common lab equipment's such signal oscilloscopes, power supply, multimeter, spectrum analyzer
- Understanding of Hands on experience in testing electronic PCB board and in troubleshooting of boards
Desired Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- +2 years of experience on Electric vehicle related product is preferred

- Hardware Development, Electronics Hardware Design, and Hardware Design skills
- Circuit Design and Hardware Architecture skills
- Experience in designing and implementing hardware systems
- Knowledge of battery technology and power electronics
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
