Senior Hardware Design Engineer

Education Requirement: ** M.Tech/Ph.D in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field

Role Overview

We are seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to drive hardware development for hybrid inverter NPD, outsourced/integration-based product development, and sustenance engineering. The role focuses on mixed-signal circuit design, schematic development, and ensuring compliance with EMI/EMC and certification standards. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, safe, and high-performance power electronics hardware.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop analog and digital hardware for inverter and energy systems.
  • Create and review schematics ensuring accuracy and robustness.
  • Select appropriate components for performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Conduct power and signal integrity analysis to ensure design quality.
  • Support PCB layout engineers with design constraints and guidelines.
  • Conduct design reviews and maintain high-quality documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC and certification requirements.

  • Strong collaboration and teamwork across hardware, firmware, and mechanical domains.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced development cycles.

Technical Expertise

  • Expertise in mixed-signal circuit design.
  • Proficiency with analog front-end design, gate drivers, and isolation techniques.
  • Experience in schematic capture and design review processes.
  • Knowledge of EMI/EMC compliance and mitigation methods.
  • Hands-on experience with power and signal integrity analysis.
  • Strong background in component selection and evaluation.
