Synergy Insurance Broking Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant &

Analyst to support the finance team in managing accounting operations, taxation, and

financial analysis. The role requires precision, ownership, and a proactive approach to ensure

compliance, support reporting activities, and contribute to process efficiency and insightful

financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Taxation

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely posting of journal entries.
  • Assist in preparation and filing of returns under GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
  • Reconcile tax ledgers and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and

deadlines.

  • Support audit preparations and coordinate with statutory and internal auditors.

Financial Analysis & MIS

  • Assist in preparation of Monthly MIS reports with detailed variance analysis.
  • Support in developing financial dashboards and performance metrics for

management review.

  • Analyze cost structures, profitability trends, and provide actionable insights.

Receivables & Revenue

  • Monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) and follow up with clients and insurers for

timely collections.

  • Validate revenue recognition in coordination with the sales and operations teams.

Process & System Support

  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and documentation

standards.

  • Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and system

enhancements.

  • Utilize Tally ERP and Excel for reporting, data analysis, and reconciliations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA Finance or equivalent would be

bonus

  • Experience: 1–3 years in accounting, taxation, and financial analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP and advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, dashboards).
  • Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented attitude.
