JOB DESCRIPTION
Jr.
Placement Coordinator
1.
Student Placement Management
: Coordinate and execute placement drives, ensuring students are matched to suitable job opportunities.
2.
Employer Engagement
: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing industry partners to facilitate recruitment.
3.
Pre-Placement Preparation
: Conduct mock interviews, resume workshops, and soft-skill sessions to enhance student employability.
4.
Placement Tracking & Reporting
: Maintain accurate placement MIS, trackers, and prepare regular reports for management review.
5.
Job Market Research
: Identify emerging industry trends and opportunities to align students' skills with market demand.
6.
Coordination with Training Teams
: Work with trainers to address skill gaps and improve employability based on employer feedback.
7.
Recruitment Drive Organization
: Plan and execute campus/virtual recruitment events, job fairs, and employer visits.
8.
Documentation & Compliance
: Ensure collection and maintenance of offer letters, joining reports, and placement-related documentation.
9.
Performance Analysis
: Monitor placement metrics such as placement ratio, average salary, and interview success rates, and suggest improvements.
10.
Student Counselling & Mentoring:
Guide students on career options, job expectations, and post-placement support.
11.
Innovation in Placement Processes:
Introduce new tools, initiatives, or placement models (e.g., internships, remote jobs) to enhance placement outcomes.
