Key Responsibilities:Procurement Planning:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for real estate and construction projects.
  • Prepare and manage the annual purchase plan in line with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to understand material specifications.

Vendor Management:

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified vendors and suppliers.
  • Maintain an updated vendor database and build long-term relationships.
  • Conduct supplier performance evaluations periodically.

Purchase Operations:

  • Source and procure materials such as cement, steel, bricks, tiles, electricals, plumbing, HVAC, interiors, etc.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery timelines to ensure best value.
  • Issue purchase orders and ensure timely deliveries to project sites.

Cost Control & Budgeting:

  • Monitor and control purchase budgets for each project.
  • Track cost variations and suggest cost-effective alternatives without compromising quality.
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls and procurement standards.

Inventory Coordination:

  • Work with stores and warehouse teams to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Avoid overstocking or material shortages that can delay project execution.

Documentation & Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, legal regulations, and safety standards.

Coordination & Reporting:

  • Coordinate with project teams, finance, logistics, and suppliers for smooth procurement flow.
  • Generate regular reports on procurement metrics, cost savings, and vendor performance.
