IT Project Manager

Job Description:-

We are looking to hire a positive, proactive IT Project manager to oversee project teams and to ensure projects are completed on time. The project manager will establish a Project Management Office (PMO), direct and coordinate the utilization of resources across divisions of the project to reach targets. The project manager will ensure compliance with the budget and other project requirements. You will document instructions for end-users and assist with the testing of the final product. You will communicate with stakeholders during all phases of the project and close it efficiently.

Roles & Responsibility: -

Outlining, defining, and initiating the project.

1. Project Planning and Execution:

Develop project plans outlining tasks, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Lead the execution of projects according to the plan, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget.

2. Team Management:

Build and lead cross-functional project teams, assigning tasks and responsibilities. Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering collaboration and accountability. Conduct regular team meetings to track progress, address issues, and ensure alignment with project goals.

3 .Risk Management:

Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery. Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address challenges proactively. Monitor project risks throughout the project lifecycle and take corrective actions as necessary.

4. Communication and Stakeholder Management:

Communicate project status, updates, and milestones to stakeholders, including senior management. Act as a liaison between the project team and stakeholders, managing expectations and resolving conflicts. Solicit feedback from stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are addressed.

5. Quality Assurance:

Establish quality standards and metrics for project deliverables. Conduct regular quality reviews and audits to ensure compliance with requirements and standards. Implement corrective actions to address quality issues and improve project outcomes.

6. Resource Management:

Manage project resources, including budget, personnel, and equipment. Monitor resource utilization and allocate resources effectively to optimize project performance. Identify resource gaps or constraints and develop strategies to address them.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in software development, preferably with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, etc.). Understanding of technical languages (App & web development) Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project goals.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding innovative solutions to complex challenges.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello, etc.).
• Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, AgilePM) is a plus.
