Job Summary:

We are looking for a Lab Chemist to join our team at Vipul Organics Limited, Ambernath Factory. The ideal candidate should have a background in Chemistry and hands-on experience in Quality Control and R&D functions. This junior role (2-5 years of experience) will focus on testing and quality analysis of materials in line with customer and production standards, supporting export development, and handling documentation related to plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Quality Control:

  2. Perform Plant Testing as per Customer Standards for dispatched materials.

  3. Conduct Raw Material Testing for production processes to ensure quality compliance.
  4. Assist in identifying any discrepancies in materials or production processes, ensuring alignment with quality expectations

2. Research & Development (R&D):

  • Contribute to Outside Export Development by matching product specifications and requirements.
  • Conduct testing and preparation for project batch development.

  • Support the development and improvement of formulations as per project requirement

  • Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records and prepare COA (Certificates of Analysis), T.D.S. (Technical Data Sheets), and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets).

  • Update and manage data in Google Sheets for easy tracking and reporting.
  • Perform SAP entries to track testing and quality control results.
  • Compile and prepare plant testing reports and samples reports for review and action.
  • Handle inward and outward entries to maintain precise documentation of all materials.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: B.Sc. / M.Sc. (in Chemistry)
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a lab chemist role, particularly in Quality Control and R&D.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Quality Control processes.

  • Proficient in SAP and Google Sheets.
  • Familiarity with creating COAs, T.D.S., and MSDS documentation.

  • Hands-on experience in plant testing and reporting.

  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in documentation and testing procedures.

  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and external stakeholders.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a factory environment with attention to safety and quality standards.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and adhering to deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment and materials used in testing and R&D processes.
