Chinese Language Expert in a construction company would require someone fluent in Mandarin, capable of real-time interpretation and document translation, and ideally possessing experience in technical or construction environments to facilitate communication between Chinese-speaking workers or stakeholders and the local team.

Responsibilities:

  • Translation & Interpretation: Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, site visits, and project discussions to ensure clear communication between Mandarin speakers and the local team.
  • Document Translation: Translate technical documents, reports, specifications, contracts, and safety manuals from Chinese to English and vice-versa.
  • Communication Facilitation: Serve as a liaison between Chinese workers, engineers, and management to resolve issues, clarify instructions, and foster a collaborative working environment.
  • Site Assistance: Assist project managers and supervisors by interpreting instructions and safety protocols to ensure site-specific tasks are understood correctly.
