Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- **Translation Services**:

- Translate documents, including contracts, technical manuals, marketing materials, and medical reports, from Chinese to English and vice versa.
- Ensure translations are accurate, contextually appropriate, and culturally sensitive.
- **Interpretation Services**:

- Provide consecutive and simultaneous interpretation during meetings, conferences, and other events.
- Facilitate effective communication between Chinese and non-Chinese speakers.
- **Cross-Cultural Communication**:

- Advise on cultural nuances and business etiquette to ensure successful international collaborations.
- Assist in localizing content for the Chinese market, including websites, software, and marketing campaigns.
- **Proofreading and Editing**:

- Review and edit translated documents to ensure high quality and consistency.
- Ensure all translations adhere to company standards and client requirements.
- **Project Management**:

- Manage multiple translation and interpretation projects simultaneously.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
- **Training and Tutoring**:

- Provide language training and tutoring to employees and clients seeking to learn Chinese for personal or professional purposes.
- Develop training materials and conduct workshops on Chinese language and culture.
- **Research and Development**:

- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Chinese language, culture, and translation technologies.
- Conduct research to enhance the accuracy and quality of translations.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chinese Language, Translation Studies, or a related field.
- **Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Chinese Language Expert, Translator, or Interpreter.
- Experience in business, legal, medical, or technical translation is preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹350.00 - ₹400.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
