Inviting Applications for the Role of Vice President, Platform Architect - Agentic AI

You will help architect and scale next-generation Agentic AI platforms powering products like the AP Suite, Insurance Agentic AI, and expanding multi-agent solutions across service lines.
Genpact's Agentic AI team is building the foundation of the next-generation AI-powered enterprise—designing intelligent, autonomous agents and the platforms that bring them to life.
We are seeking a visionary Vice President – Platform Architect to lead platform architecture, technical strategy, and enterprise design for cutting-edge Agentic AI systems across industries, with emphasis on Financial Services. This role will shape modular, scalable platforms that enable autonomous AI agents to operate securely and reliably in complex enterprise environments.
As a Platform Architect, you will define architectural blueprints, drive technical decisioning, partner with global clients, and guide engineering teams in building secure, compliant, and enterprise-grade Agentic AI platforms. You'll combine deep technical expertise with strong product thinking and domain understanding.

Responsibilities
1. Platform Architecture & Technical Leadership

•    Define the enterprise architecture for Agentic AI platforms covering infrastructure, cloud, security, data engineering, model integration, microservices, and workflow orchestration.

•    Establish standards for platform scalability, resilience, observability, multi-tenancy, and high availability.

•    Evaluate and select technologies, frameworks, and toolchains that support high-performance and compliant Agentic AI deployments.

•    Conduct technical risk analysis for design decisions, including performance, cost, and security implications.

•    Drive architectural innovation to stay ahead of industry, regulatory, and AI ecosystem advancements.
2. AI-Driven Platform & Solution Design

•    Collaborate with AI research, engineering, and product teams to embed LLMs, multi-agent frameworks, vector databases, and ML models into platform architecture.

•    Ensure responsible AI principles—explainability, transparency, governance, bias controls—are foundational to platform design.

•    Architect reusable components, domain adapters, integration layers, and agent orchestration modules.
3. Client Engagement & Technical Advisory

•    Lead strategic client discussions to convey platform vision, architecture options, and integration strategies.

•    Translate complex technical decisions into clear, business-aligned narratives for CXOs and technology leaders.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

•    Partner closely with product management, engineering, domain SMEs, data teams, and delivery functions to shape end-to-end platform capabilities.

•    Ensure architectural coherence across microservices, APIs, shared services, data pipelines, and agent execution layers.
5. People Leadership & Capability Building

•    Guide and mentor architects, principal engineers, and platform technologists across global teams.

•    Build strong internal AI, cloud, and integration architecture capabilities aligned to future needs.

•    Foster a culture of engineering excellence, architectural rigor, and innovation.
6. Strategic Alignment & Delivery Oversight

•    Align platform architecture with product strategy, client priorities, and Genpact's AI-first transformation roadmap.

•    Support large-scale proposals, solution reviews, feasibility assessments, and platform modernization initiatives.
7. Domain Expertise in Financial Services (Preferred)

•    Apply deep understanding of financial services requirements—security, compliance, risk, data governance—to shape robust AI platforms.

•    Translate domain needs (KYC, underwriting, claims, fraud, payments, trading workflows) into scalable platform designs.

Qualifications We Seek in You
Minimum Qualifications

•    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline (required).

•    Master's degree in Technology Management, Engineering, Business, or Data Science (preferred).

•    Certifications in Cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP), AI/ML, or Enterprise Architecture (TOGAF) are an advantage.

•    Proven expertise in two or more of the following\: Architecture/Cloud Infrastructure, Security, Data & AI, Application Architecture, Enterprise Integration.

•    Strong experience architecting enterprise-scale platforms or products in highly regulated environments.

•    Demonstrated track record of leading architecture for mid-to-large technology or product organizations.

•    Strong client-facing experience with the ability to articulate architecture choices to senior stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

•    Strong platform-level thinking with ability to architect modular, scalable, and secure AI systems.

•    Demonstrated success in designing solutions for Financial Services (banking, insurance, capital markets).

•    Exceptional communication, storytelling, and advisory skills with the ability to influence senior client stakeholders.

•    Ability to balance architectural rigor with practical business outcomes in a fast-paced AI product ecosystem.
