Process Overview
EDIQA Team is responsible for assessment and testing of new products, enhancements to existing
products, simulating the role of a customer or end user. QA develops a Test Strategy/Plan that outlines
the testing procedures, scenarios and incident / defect management process that will effectively test the
reliability of the product.
 

Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for carrying out the complete STLC (Software Test Life Cycle) activities
and automation activities.

Responsibilities
Design and develop automation scripts using UFT
Implementing Automation framework for Web and mainframe applications
Closely working with functional teams to perform regression testing
Design and Execute test scripts to ensure business, technical requirements are met throughout the
SDLC
Conducts functional, regression and end-to-end testing on to ensure adequate coverage of
requirements.
Strong knowledge of Jira and Quality Center to manage test execution, defects and test reporting.
Works as a member of the project team to ensure standard quality practices/processes are followed
Develop testing strategies that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios,
regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability
Provide Status Reports, Daily, Weekly and Monthly to Offshore and Onshore Stakeholders
Preparing Test Summary Report.
Present the test results to business stake holders.
Frame a clear and comprehensive write ups for defects.

Requirements

Education – Graduation, any

Certifications If any : ISTQB and Test Automation Certifications

Experience : 4-6 years

Foundational skills:
Strong knowledge on UFT Tool
Tosca(Good to have skill)
Experience in Automation Framework Implementation
Experience in developing automated test systems and scripts beyond record and playback
Strong scripting skills using VB Script
Strong experience in STLC.
Experience in Global Payments Domain.
Exposure in banking application's testing.
Experience in Defect Tracking and Test Management tools like HP Quality Center (QC) ,Octane, Jira
Exposure to working with teams comprised of all levels of corporate tier.
Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate in a team environment to maintain effective
team relationship.
