Role & responsibilities

Role Objective

Drive pellet sales in the assigned territory by building strong customer relationships, acquiring new business, promoting MSPLs product advantages, and supporting the technical shift from iron lumps to pellets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective pellet customers.

2. Sales Development & Prospecting

  • Identify potential customers through field visits and solution-based selling.
  • Conduct technical presentations to showcase MSPLs offerings.

3. Technical Collaboration

  • Partner with the technical team to convert iron lump users to pellets.
  • Emphasize the technical and economic advantages of MSPL products.

4. New Customer Acquisition

  • Prospect, research, and onboard new clients using targeted sales strategies.

5. Territory Management

  • Regularly travel within Ginigera, Koppal, Hospet, Bellary, and surrounding regions to maintain high customer engagement.

6. MIS & Reporting

  • Maintain up-to-date sales reports, visit logs, and lead tracking systems.
  • Gather competitor intelligence and share actionable insights.

7. Inventory Monitoring

  • Monitor customer stock levels and reorder points.
  • Ensure timely execution and delivery of orders.

8. Market Intelligence

  • Analyze competitor pricing, product performance, and customer feedback to inform strategy.

9. Payment Collection & FG Movement

  • Follow up with clients for timely payment.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Logistics, Production, PPC) for smooth material dispatch and delivery.

Preferred candidate profile

Department: Sales & Marketing

Location: Ginigera, Koppal, Hospet, Bellary & Surrounding Areas

Company: MSPL Ltd

Education: B.E. / B.Tech Mechanical / Metallurgy / Production

Experience: Minimum 2 years in industrial B2B sales (preferably pellets, pig iron, or related raw materials)

Language: Kannada or other local language proficiency preferred

Mobility: Willing to travel extensively

Skills:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Technical acumen and commercial understanding
  • Result-oriented with good market knowledge

Preferred Background

  • Experience in Pellet / Pig Iron / Industrial Raw Material Sales
  • Exposure to B2B industrial customer handling
  • Familiarity with steel plant operations or procurement processes
