Job Title: Career & Skill Development Facilitator

Location:
 KB Nagar, near Mysore Road (Opposite Gopalan Mall)

 Project Manager

Role Purpose

The 
Career & Skill Development Facilitator
 will guide and support young individuals in identifying their interests, aspirations, and strengths to pursue meaningful careers. The facilitator will conduct interactive training sessions, provide counselling, and help youth explore and prepare for opportunities in higher education, entrepreneurship, or employment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Training & Facilitation

  • Conduct engaging sessions on career planning, goal setting, communication, and life skills.
  • Help youth explore different pathways — higher education, entrepreneurship, or employment.
  • Use participatory training methods such as role plays, group discussions, and real-life case studies.
  • Develop and adapt training materials and modules to suit diverse learning needs.

2. Career Guidance & Counselling

  • Provide individual and group counselling to help youth discover their strengths and career interests.
  • Assist participants in creating personalized career development plans.
  • Offer guidance on college admissions, vocational training, entrepreneurship, and job readiness.

3. Entrepreneurship Support

  • Introduce participants to entrepreneurial thinking, financial literacy, and small business management.
  • Organize exposure visits, workshops, and mentoring sessions with entrepreneurs.
  • Connect youth with relevant government schemes, resources, and networks to start or grow ventures.

4. Employment Readiness

  • Conduct sessions on résumé writing, interview preparation, and workplace behavior.
  • Coordinate with placement teams and employers to identify job opportunities.
  • Track, document, and report participants' progress and placement outcomes.

5. Coordination, Reporting & Monitoring

  • Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and counselling activities.
  • Prepare monthly progress reports, case studies, and success stories.
  • Participate in review meetings and contribute to program evaluation and improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in 
    Social Work, Education, Psychology
    , or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 
    2–3 years of experience
     in youth development, livelihood programs, or counselling.
  • Proven experience in training, mentoring, or skill-building programs is desirable.
