Job Summary: We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and experienced Cruise Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth expertise in the cruise industry covering multiple areas of operations, reservations, products, market trends, and customer experience. This role involves providing strategic insights, supporting project teams, and ensuring the highest standards of service and innovation for our cruise clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for all cruise-related matters within the organisation.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to internal teams on cruise products, destinations, and market opportunities.
  • Support the development and enhancement of cruise packages, itineraries, and customer experiences.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory updates to inform business strategy.
  • Train and mentor staff on cruise industry best practices, product knowledge, and customer service excellence.
  • Collaborate with multiple Organization units to serve IT needs of Cruise Customers.
  • Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and insights for management teams.

Experience Desired:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in the cruise industry or travel sector, with a proven track record in a similar SME or leadership role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cruise lines, ships, itineraries, and customer demographics.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT systems used in the cruise industry.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Established network with cruise line partners and suppliers.
  • Understanding of Global cruise market trends.
