Jobs and Responsibilities of Sales Engineer
Sales target achievement
- Customer visits around 20 to 25 visit per month
- Giving presentation on Consumable Parts & Machines and Generating RFQs
- Contact customers on phone (Existing/new 10 to 15 calls per day), Focus on repeat orders from the existing customers
- Lead generation through mailers Mass mailing and target calling
- Getting RFQs from existing & New customers
- Give Quotation for interested prospect
- Closing the orders and Getting Purchase Orders
- Order generation and coordination with Head office till product reaches customer factory
New Business development
- Tracking new business opportunities with existing customers at old and new locations in South India.
Revenue Collection
- Review and Control the outstanding payment at decided level
- Follow ups with customers for pending payments and coordinate with Accounts department for the doubts
Team Coordination and support
- Support the other sales team members for Technical discussions, quotation, dispatch tracking, coordination with production team for product related clarification
Product development
- Exploring the new product opportunity with customers
- Assisting Head Office in market study and new business development
- Understanding the concepts from customer and coordinate with design and development team for making prototypes
Customer relationship
- Dispatch support and information update
- Receive customer complaints and coordinate for resolution through operations
- Close relationship with customers is maintained for future business
- Sharing new technology with the customers through emails and personal meeting
- Courtesy visits to existing customers
Who can FIT in to this role:
- Male candidate having 3-5 years experience as Sales Engineers in manufacturing or similar industry
- Bachelor degree in mechanical or diploma.
- Good experience in B2B sales.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Willingness to travel frequently to meet with clients and attend industry events.
